MRIGlobal Named Kansas City's Healthiest Employer Two Years in a Row
MRIGlobal was named Healthiest Employer in Kansas City Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers competition (100-499 category). MRIGlobal was awarded top prize at the Feb. 8 event.
MRIGlobal offers staff on-site wellness coaching, wellness room, nutrition programs, and dozens of programs each year. The newly added massage area and mediation room provide quiet space for peaceful reflection and unwinding. The recreation room accommodates playing darts or ping-pong also.
For decades, MRIGlobal has maintained an on-site gym which features:
- Indoor basketball court
- An array of fitness equipment
- Weights
- Locker rooms
- Outdoor -Sand volleyball and touch football
- Access to great running/walking trails
- Many types of free fitness classes during lunch and before and after work
MRIGlobal is proud to share the honor among 23 companies with local offices that made the finalist cut, based on their wellness programming and benefits.
Competing employers were split into categories by global workforce size. Healthiest Employers LLC, a data research company, measured those factors using the Springbuk analytics platform. The assessment scored organizations on the wellness program’s culture and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analysis.
